advice plz =D asks:   so, here's the deal. i go to a school where everybody knows everybody. not one thing you do is private. so ppl know when there's something different about you. now, here's where my problem comes into play. since everybody knows me, they seem to know that a lot of times, i'll begin to change. ppl have been saying that i have multiple personalities. i think that's a disease, right? anywho, i see it too sometimes. it's not bipolar, it's more, i'll think of something, act like a cracked up three-yr-old, and then as soon as i hear someones voice or even get called over, i start to boil over. idk if that's multiple personalities, but it's starting to become violent. when i'm not the go-lucky, cracked-up-3-yr-old, i'm cousin it, and i'll hurt anybody who pisses me off. i don't want to, but i can't stop myself when i get in that mood. i don't wanna go to a counselor about it, cause a friend of mine told me that i'll never be able to breath with them on my back. so what i'm asking is, what is it? is it multiple personalities?
adam32m says:   No, it sounds more like a mood disorder. MPD usually has blackouts or missed time.

collegegirl asks:   ok, sorry to ask this, but when I was a little younger I was rail thin, underweight (not because of a fast metabolism, because for some reason i used to think being super thin was attractive). Now 18, I've gained fifteen healthy pounds; I reached my ideal weight. As soon as I started gaining weight, I immediately started filling out (breasts developed that i never had in my life, hips grew, etc). I was planning on losing a ten pounds to help counteract the classic "freshman fifteen" weight gain, in case it happened to me. My question was, do you think I would lose my breasts, just as quickly as they came? =/
adam32m says:   Yes you would. You don't need to lose weight to counter the "freshman 15." Just stick with similar eating habits as you have now, with portions and variety. Also, college gives great access to physical activity.

Help please. asks:   Alright. I am 14 yrs old, male, 6' 4" and 280 lbs. I know I am WAY overweight, but I've tried dieting and excersising, and although it helped, I cnt do it for more than a month. So I have taken up bulimia. I've been doing it for about two weeks, and I've lost ten pounds. It's the fastest weight I lost, and I don't feel any different like scientists say they would. I know it probably is doing harm to my body, but I'm losing weight so fast! I wanted to know what you think. Since I'm not feeling different, should I keep doing it, or no?
adam32m says:   No. The weight loss is unhealthy. You are messing up your digestive system by purging. You won't see the effects of it, but it is effecting your body.
